Janetta Brewer is a recognized expert in government contract compliance, known for solving the toughest regulatory and operational challenges facing today’s federal contractors. With two decades of experience spanning the federal government, Fortune 500, and global consulting firms, Janetta brings a rare combination of legal acumen, regulatory insight, strategic execution, and business pragmatism.
She began her career as a Contracting Officer and later served as a Fortune 500 compliance leader, federal auditor, procurement policy advisor, and senior advisor responsible for writing and interpreting federal acquisition rules (FAR and DFARS)—before transitioning to lead high-stakes compliance and operational transformations for some of the world’s largest defense, technology, and life sciences firms. Her work has helped companies avoid penalties, win major bids, scale post-acquisition, and navigate complex audits with confidence.
In addition to her consulting work, Janetta teaches Government Contracts and Administrative Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She also delivers fiscal law, acquisition, and leadership training to federal personnel across the country, including courses that support FAC-C and FAC-COR certifications—further extending her impact as a thought leader across both public and academic sectors.
