Procurement Management Reviews
Description: This course provides participants with an in-depth understanding of one of the agency’s key oversight measures, the procurement management review (PMR). The course provides attendees with the information necessary to assess an agency’s compliance with laws, regulations, and policies in order to reduce risk and increase efficiency across their contracting organizations.
Course Topics: Overview of the history of the PMR • Purpose and scope of the PMR • Electronic versus in-person reviews • Timelines associated with the PMR • Objectives of the PMR • Who should participate in the PMR and their roles • How to conduct an PMR • The risk assessment process and risk mitigation strategies • Reporting PMR results • What happens after the PMR • Auditing, evaluating, and updating the PMR program.
Course Location: 1100 N. Glebe Rd., Suite 1010, Arlington, VA 22201
Course Length: Three days. Course hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
All sessions will proceed as scheduled, starting at 8:00 a.m., regardless of weather or Government shutdown.
Price: $395 per student. Groups of 3 or more: $345 per student. Members of a group need not attend the same session in order to qualify for the group discount.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Class size is limited in order to provide a high quality educational experience. Registrants may ask to be rescheduled 14 days before the course start date at no additional chard. Registrants may cancel and obtain a refund, less a processing fee of $50.00, at any time prior to 14 calendar days before the course start date. No refund will be given in the event of rescheduling or cancellation 14 days or less before the course start date.
